Welcome to Tignes, where world champions train, where skiing is possible 365 days a year, where the 1992 Winter Olympics took place, where everything has to do with one thing: skiing! The ski areas of Tignes and Val d'Isère together create a gigantic ski circus, the "L 'Espace Killy" (96 lifts total!) This 5-star ski region sprawls over three mountains and two valleys and will leave every skiier and snowboarder breathless. The high altitude (1,550-3,456 m) and one of the most attractive glaciers in the Alps absolutely guarantees snow reliability. Our apartments are located in the districts of Val Claret, Le Lavachet and Le Lac, just a few metres from the piste. Tignes - the ski region of superlatives! In the late years of the fifties, after the “old Tignes” had sunk in the Lac du Cevril the Tignes of today was built at a height of 2.100 m in a close to treeless high valley. As wood and natural stone were used to rebuild the village Tignes still has plenty of its original savoyan charm. Furthermore the Vanoise-Massif impresses with its glaciers Grande Motte (3.656 m) and Mont Pourri (3.779 m). At the end of the high valley Val Claret is located with many restaurants, socialising hot spots and a kart course. Le Lac, in the centre of Tignes, offers attractive ice sports possibilities. Both districts are well connected to the skiing area.
