Quatre Vallées - the peak of pleasure!

The famous Quatre Vallées are without any doubt a highlight for all winter sport fans! They offer 88 lifts, 331 kilometres of piste and ski tours, of which nearly 200 km are medium to very steep. And on top of that the “four valleys” are a real deep snow paradise. Right in the centre of this ski holiday destination there is the Mont Fort (3,330 m), also know as the “peak of pleasure”. The climax is the 15 km run into the valley with an altitude difference of 2.500 m! Nendaz is located in the middle of the Quatre Valées and, due to its cosy village centre, it has lots to offer at night too. Being set on a high plateau, Nedaz (1,350 m) has an incredible view of the Rhône valley and the Alps. Several historic monuments are proof of the over 1000 years of history that the oldest village of the Quatre Vallées looks back on. In contrast to this history, Nendaz now offers the infrastructure of a modern winter sports destination with over 30 restaurants, 10 cafes and bars, as well as numerous shops and cultural facilities. Before you go out on the town, we recommend a meal in one of the cosy restaurants. Spoil your senses with regional specialities like Raclette or Fondue and a good wine.
